My tours are personally crafted for clients to see what daily life in the Netherlands could be like. I take you to cities and towns you are interested in and show you how the locals live. We can travel by van to cover a lot of cities in a short time or by pubic transportation to experience life without a car.

DAFT Consulting Services
Chris moved to the Netherlands utilizing the Dutch American Friendship Treaty (DAFT) visa. It’s an entrepreneur visa that currently allows a path to citizenship or permanent residency after 5 years of temporary residency. Many Americans are currently looking at DAFT to move abroad and start fresh in a safe country, but don’t know exactly where to start. Chris can help you through the initial phases to determine if DAFT and the Netherlands would be a good fit for you.

Chris founded O’Connell Tours in 2024 to share the wonders of The Netherlands with local guests and tourists from around the world. Chris has been in hospitality for over 20 years and loves sharing new experiences and places with thier guests. When they moved to Sonoma with their young family in 2006 they caught the wine bug and quickly made a career change to focus on their new passion. In the years that followed, they worked in Napa, Sonoma and Oregon’s Willamette Valley learning the nuance of grapes grown in each region. They also spent time in vineyard management learning the grape growing cycle and harvest in depth. Your Transportation
Your day will start with an exclusive pick up at your selected location in Chris’ comfortable 9 person VW Transporter. There is plenty of room for up to 8 guests total across four rows of seating. Everyone has a great view. Water and snacks are provided.
If you are looking for relocation or pet transportation, the rear seats can be removed to provide plenty of space for you, your pets and luggage.
